To earn bonus Qantas Points, register for this offer and add a minimum AU$1,000 equivalent of foreign currency to your account or transfer Australian dollars into foreign currency between 10 December 2025 12:00AM and 14 January 2026 11:59PM (AEDT) ("Promotion Period"). 1,000 bonus Qantas Points will be awarded for every AU$1,000 equivalent loaded in foreign currency, cumulatively during the Promotion Period, up to 25,000 Qantas Points. Payments for load transactions using BPAY® or Bank Transfer will take additional time to settle and will only be eligible if funds clear within 3 business days from the end of the Promotion Period. The offer is only available on new foreign currency loads. It does not apply to transfers between your existing currency balances or transfers between cards. Qantas Points will be credited to your account six to eight weeks after the Promotion Period ends. This offer may be extended or withdrawn at any time and prior notice will be given where reasonable to do so. The earning of Qantas Points is subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
Eligible purchases do not include money orders, traveller’s cheques, gambling chips, adult entertainment, purchasing foreign currencies in cash or the making of payment(s) towards any credit cards, loans or other financial debt that is not incurred with respect to goods and services. You will not earn Qantas Points when transferring funds to another currency balance or another member’s facility, when withdrawing funds from ATMs, cashing out your facility balance or for over the counter withdrawals. Purchases that are reversed, refunded or charged-back are also ineligible for points earn, in addition to fees incurred.
This 2,000 bonus Qantas Points offer is available to new Qantas Pay customers who: (1) successfully sign up for a Qantas Pay account between 10 Dec 2025 12:00AM (AEDT) and 11 Feb 2026 11:59PM (AEDT); (2) cumulatively load AU$1,000 or equivalent in foreign currency within the first 30 days of card approval; and (3) keep the loaded funds in the account for another 30 days, other than to make purchases or holding an account balance (including transferring to another currency). Transfers between existing currency balances or cards will not contribute to the load requirement. Note, payment for load transactions using BPAY® or Bank Transfer will take additional time to settle. Funds must clear within three business days after the offer end date to be eligible for bonus points. The Qantas Points will be credited to the eligible customer's Qantas Frequent Flyer account six to eight weeks after the 30-day non-withdrawal period has been successfully completed. The earning and use of Qantas Points is subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions. This offer may be amended or withdrawn at any time and we may provide prior notice where reasonable to do so.
The Qantas Pay app works with eligible Qantas Pay cards on compatible iOS and Android devices. The Qantas Travel Money card (built into the back of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Card) is not eligible for the Qantas Pay app. To use the Qantas Pay app, Qantas Pay customers must hold the standalone card, issued from 21 May 2024. Existing Qantas Travel Money cardholders can upgrade to a Qantas Pay card for use with the Qantas Pay app or via the website.
