Statement Instalment Plan

For repayments on your terms, a Statement Instalment Plan allows you to pay off the retail balance on your current statement in manageable monthly instalments, over a set term and lower interest rate than your standard Retail Purchase Rate.¹

Important Information

Instalment plan offers are subject to eligibility and only available if your account is and remains in good standing (for example - your account is not in default, suspended or closed). Your instalment plan uses part of your existing credit limit. The instalment fee or initial interest charge (whichever is applicable) will be charged on the first statement after the instalment plan is set up and will be included in the minimum payment due. Your monthly instalment will be included in the minimum payment due on each subsequent statement until your instalment plan is repaid. As you pay off your instalment plan, the amount you pay off will become available for you to use again as part of your credit limit and will incur interest at the standard annual percentage rates applicable to your account. For the full terms and conditions of your instalment plan, please refer to Section 5 of the Qantas Money Credit Card Terms and Conditions. If you fail to pay an instalment amount by the due date, you’ll be charged interest on the overdue instalment amount at the retail purchase rate. The interest charged will be added to the minimum payment due on your next statement. The Credit Card Terms and Conditions explain the meaning of overdue instalment amount and how interest is calculated and charged on this amount. We may also cancel your instalment plan. We will tell you if an instalment amount is overdue before we cancel the instalment plan. If your instalment plan is cancelled, the outstanding balance of your statement instalment plan and transaction instalment plan will revert to the retail purchase rate.
