Eligible Entrants

Entry is open to:

  • Australian residents

  • entrants aged 18 years or over; and

  • entrants who are Qantas Frequent Flyer members; and 

  • entrants who hold an activated Qantas Pay card (or successfully apply for and activate one during the Promotion Period); and

  • entrants who are not directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.

Entry Procedure

To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:

i) Registration

  • Register for the Promotion online by submitting their details at qantasmoney.com/qantas-pay/competition-2026; OR

  • Click on the ‘Register now’ link contained in an email sent to Eligible Entrants promoting the Promotion and follow the instructions.

ii) Load Currency

  • Once registered (or prior to registering, provided it is within the Promotion Period), the Eligible Entrant must complete one of the following:

  • Eligible Entrants who are new to Qantas Pay must successfully sign up and make their first load of a minimum of AU$100 (in Australian Dollars or foreign currency equivalent) in a single transaction. Allocation: Ten (10) entries. (Limited to one allocation per new customer).

  • Eligible Entrants (both new and existing) who load foreign currency onto their Qantas Pay facility (either directly or via transfer from an Australian Dollar balance). Allocation: One (1) entry for every AU$100 equivalent of foreign currency loaded or transferred in a single transaction.

Important Entry Rules

  • Eligible foreign currency loads include both direct loads from an external source and internal transfers from an Australian Dollar balance to a foreign currency balance within the Qantas Pay facility.

  • To generate an entry, the load or transfer must be a single transaction of AU$100 equivalent or higher.

  • Loads are not cumulative across multiple transactions. 

  • (e.g., Two separate loads of AU$50 will result in zero (0) entries).

  • Except for the new customer bonus (if applicable), an entry will not be received for loads made in Australian Dollars unless subsequently transferred to a foreign currency balance.

  • Eligible loads/transactions do not include money orders, traveller’s cheques, gambling chips, adult entertainment, purchasing foreign currencies in cash, or the making of payment(s) towards any credit cards, loans or other financial debt that is not incurred with respect to goods and services.

Maximum Number of Entries

Limit of 100 entries per Eligible Entrant.

Prize

The Prize consists of:

  • Two (2) Return Business Class flights for the winner and a travel companion to the winner’s chosen destination (London, Rome, or Paris).

  • Seven (7) nights of luxury accommodation in the chosen destination.

  • AU$5,000 equivalent loaded onto the winner’s Qantas Pay card (in the currency of their chosen destination, converted using the Qantas Pay exchange rate applicable at the time the load is processed).

  • A curated experience tailored to the destination. The experience will be selected at the Promoter’s discretion and may include a private cooking masterclass, an after-hours private museum tour, or VIP West End theatre tickets).

    • Note: Experiences described in marketing materials are illustrative until booking and subject to availability.

Prize Conditions

The winner must confirm their chosen destination and preferred travel dates with the Promoter by 30 September 2026. Prize travel must be completed between 20 May 2027 and 15 October 2027.

All experiences and accommodations are subject to availability at the time of booking. The specific experiences provided will be curated based on the winner's chosen destination. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.

The prize credit value of AU$5,000 of equivalent foreign currency (in the currency of the chosen destination) will be loaded onto the prize winner's Qantas Pay card within 60 days of the travel booking confirmation. The conversion from Australian Dollars to the chosen foreign currency will be calculated using the Qantas Pay exchange rate applicable at the time the funds are loaded. Both the winner and travel companion must have an active Qantas Pay card in good order for the credit to be issued.

Maximum Total Prize Pool

The maximum total Prize pool value is AU$200,000, based on the recommended retail value and the exchange rate at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize due to exchange rate fluctuations or other circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

Draw Details

The draw will take place at 10:00AM (AEST) on 10 June 2026 at MDSA, Level 16, 1 Denison Street NSW 2060. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter or other company as applicable (Draw). The result of the Draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may draw backup winners at the time of the Draw. In the event a winner is unable to satisfy these Terms or forfeits or does not claim a Prize, a backup winner may be notified in their place.

Notification of Winners

The winner(s) will be notified by email and phone by 5:00PM (AEST) 12 June 2026 and their first name initial, surname and postcode will be published on www.qantasmoney.com/qantas-pay/competition-2026 from 13 June 2026 for a minimum of 30 days.

Redemption Date

5:00 PM (AEST) on 9 September 2026. To claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the Promoter's notification (via phone or email) to confirm their acceptance of the Prize by this date and time.

Redraw Details

The redraw will take place at 10:00AM (AEST) on 10 September 2026 at MDSA, Level 16, 1 Denison Street NSW 2060. The redraw will be conducted by the Promoter or other company as applicable (Redraw). The result of the Redraw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of Redraw Winners

The Redraw winner will be notified by email and phone by 5:00PM (AEST) 12 September 2026 and their first name initial, surname and postcode will be published on www.qantasmoney.com/qantas-pay/competition-2026 from 13 September 2026 for a minimum of 30 days.

Means the website on which the Promotion is available for entry.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Key Terms and these terms and conditions (together, the Terms) make up the rules for an Eligible Entrant’s participation in the Promotion. By participating, the Eligible Entrant accepts these Terms. Headings in this document are included for ease of reference, and do not affect interpretation in any way. 

2. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must complete the Entry Procedure during the Promotion Period

3. A New Customer is defined as an Eligible Entrant who applies for and activates a Qantas Pay card for the first time during the Promotion Period

4. Eligible Entrants may enter the Promotion up to the Maximum Number of Entries

5. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

6. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter

7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 

Qantas Pay Specific Conditions

8. Qantas Pay is a prepaid Mastercard® payment facility (previously known as Qantas Travel Money built into the back of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Card.) Qantas Travel Money is no longer available for sale. To be eligible to receive the Qantas Pay card, you must be an Australian resident and Qantas Frequent Flyer member aged 16 years or older. EML Payment Solutions Limited ('EML') ABN 30 131 436 532, AFSL 404131 (the Issuer) issues Qantas Pay under arrangements between it, Qantas Airways Limited (AFS representative number 261363) and Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Australia Pty Ltd (AFSL 386837) (‘MPMS’) (a Mastercard business). MPMS distributes Qantas Pay (together with Qantas which is an authorised representative of Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Australia Pty Ltd for the purposes of providing general financial product advice with respect to Qantas Pay).

9. MPMS and Qantas earn foreign exchange revenue from Qantas Pay transactions. MPMS receives a processing fee from domestic Qantas Pay "point of sale" transactions. Qantas receives revenue generated by Qantas Pay transactions based on interchange fees paid to the Issuer, deposits held by the Issuer, cardholder fee and certain rebates and incentives from Mastercard Asia Pacific/Pte Ltd.

10. 11. Transactions that are reversed, refunded, or charged-back are also ineligible for entry. You will not earn entries when transferring funds to another member’s facility, or when withdrawing funds from ATMs. Transfers between your own currency balances are eligible only when transferring from Australian Dollars to a foreign currency.

12. Qantas Pay cannot be used in sanctioned countries/regions including Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Donetsk and Luhansk.

Prizes

13. The Prize(s) are specified in the Key Terms. 14. The Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A Prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of that Prize. 15. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, for reasons outside the control of the Promoter, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 16. The Prize(s) must be claimed by the Redemption Date set out in the Key Terms, or it will be forfeited by the winner.

17. The components of the Prize must be taken together when offered otherwise the Prize is forfeited. The Prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise stated, the Prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, flights, accommodation or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of Prize-winner(s) and, if applicable, their companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage.

18. Prize travel and, if applicable, accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking and Prize travel is subject to availability of Prize travel fares at the time of booking. The winners and, if applicable, their companions must travel together on all Prize travel and will not accrue Qantas Points or Status Credits on any element of the Prize. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Points.

Right of the Promoter to redraw

19. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of an Eligible Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms or forfeiting or not claiming a Prize within a reasonable timeframe from the date of notification. For any Prize that remains unclaimed after the Redemption Date, a second draw will be conducted by the Draw in accordance with the Redraw Details in the Key Terms.

Limitation of liability and variation of terms

20. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. In this scenario, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this Promotion.

21. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents (Promotion Parties) will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or personal injuries arising out of this Promotion, the advertisement of this Promotion or the use of any Prize, including but not limited to any breach of these Terms, contract or tort (including negligence) and any other common law, equitable or statutory remedy (Damages) whatsoever, including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential Damages, including Damages that cannot reasonably be considered to arise naturally and in the ordinary course of things, even if those Damages were in the contemplation of the Promotion Parties.

22. The exclusion of liability in the above clause does not apply to limit or exclude liability: 

  • for personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with the supply of goods or services which are supplied by the Promoter in the ordinary course of business; or

  • to the extent it is not permissible at law to limit or exclude liability in the manner contemplated in that clause (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).

Entry details and privacy

23. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the Prize. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding any Prizes (including to third parties involved in the Promotion and any applicable statutory authorities) and to conduct marketing activities. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, visit www.qantas.com/privacy to obtain a copy.

Eligible Entrants understand and agree that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. By entering this competition, each Eligible Entrant releases Facebook from any action or claim arising out of the competition.
